    The Plan of Salvation

Salvation comes from God through Jesus Christ. He loves us and his will is that all men be saved according to His promise. To understand this, here are four points to consider :

    1. God loves each one of us.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.”

     John 3. 16

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”

    1 John 4. 10

And we know and have believed the love which God hath in us. God is love; and he that abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.”

     1 John 4. 16

Just as a father has compassion for his children, So Jehovah has compassion on them that fear him. For he himself knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.”

    Psalm 103. 13-14

    2. Each one of us has sinned and is separated from God

As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one.”

    Romans 3. 10

For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.”

    Romans 3. 23

For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

     Romans 6. 23

    3. But God has promised us a Savior who will take all of our sins upon himself.

That Savior is Jesus Christ who suffered and died for our sins and then rose again from the dead.

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”

        John 10. 11

And He Himself bore our sins in his body upon the cross, that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.”

     1 Peter 2. 24

"In whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our sins, according to the riches of his grace.”

       Ephesians 1. 7

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and God hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.”

      Isaiah 53. 5-6

    4. Jesus Christ shed His blood to forgive us from our sins. We must believe and receive Him as Savior in order to be saved

Repent therefore, and return, that your sins may be blotted out, so there may come seasons of refreshing from the presence of the Lord.”

    Acts 3. 19

Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one comes to the Father, but by me.”

      John 14. 6

“I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit: for apart from me you can do nothing.”

      John 15. 5

He that believes on the Son hath eternal life; but he that does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

          John 3. 36

But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name.”

       John 1. 12

In summary, we are all sinners separated from God. But God loves us so much He wants to make it possible for us to have a personal relationship with Him. He provided the way through Jesus Christ who took our sins upon Himself on the cross so that we can become children of God.
God is reaching His hand out to you today. Will you take a hold of it?

Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me.”

    Revelation 3. 20

If any man has an ear, let him hear.”

    Revelation 13. 9
